Red, Red, Wine You make me feel so fine

LIVERMORE

By Leslie Moniz

Where: Livermore Wineries.
When: Any day you choose.
You’ll need to: Have those IDs handy.
Cash factor: Although most venues accept credit, bring cash for the quaint, family-owned wineries.

Did someone say wine? Break out of your ordinary destination of Napa and travel to a little old place called…Livermore. These small, intimate family- owned vineyards, will make you wonder why you haven’t tasted here before. If this destination, which is deep in the East Bbay territory,  feels like uncharted waters for you, hop on the
Livermore Wine Trolley and let the guide do the work. If you’re feeling adventurous and don’t want to be told ‘what to do,’ you can’t go wrong by choosing any of the 60 (yes, 60) wineries located there.  If oOn your tour, all of the Cabs and Sauv Blancs start to taste the same so, head to Concannon Vineyard, and have an Old Fashioned at their fully stocked bar attached to athis beautiful winery. We wish more wineries incorporated the full bar option to spice things up, but for now, Concannon will fills the void. This vineyard also comes fully equipped with a bocce ball court to keep this date interesting.  Make sure you call a Lyft to get you and your precious cargo home safe after this trek into unfamiliar territory.
